Practical Help
A future neighbor-help commons could make it easier for trusted volunteers to help with ordinary burdens like rides or medication pickup.
Massachusetts Listening Initiative - 501(c)(3) Filing 2027
A Massachusetts-centered space for physicians, patients, nurses, families, staff, administrators, payers, and community members to share what is hard, what could help, and how we can overcome difficult circumstances together.
Community initiative notice
Project Healing is a community listening and system-improvement initiative. It does not provide healthcare, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, emergency support, or individual case review.
Beyond Listing Problems
Project Healing is not interested in blame, naming, shaming, or negative comments about individuals. Painful stories are welcome, but the work is to translate them into patterns, practical support ideas, and ways neighbors can be there for each other.

Sometimes a grieving or exhausted person does not need a system answer first. They need someone who can let them speak and be heard.
During economic strain, community can become infrastructure: people noticing each other, showing up, and helping responsibly.
Who We Serve
From the patient who felt dismissed to the nurse working a double shift, all perspectives belong here. We ask each voice to help us see both the difficulty and the possibility of repair.
Massachusetts clinicians navigating administrative burden, time constraints, and system pressures while still looking for practical ways care can feel more human.
Massachusetts patients facing confusion, rushed encounters, access barriers, and the need to be treated as neighbors, not case numbers.
Frontline Massachusetts witnesses to what works, what breaks, and what small changes could protect dignity for everyone involved.
The family members and caregivers advocating, translating, worrying, and remembering what fragmented systems forget.
Massachusetts healthcare leaders balancing financial limits, regulatory demands, staffing realities, and the mission that brought them to healthcare.
How It Works
Every AI output is a recommendation to humans, not an action, clinical recommendation, or direct match between people. That is not a limitation - it is the founding ethic.
Submit a concern, frustration, or observation, then tell us what might have helped. The first analysis focuses on Massachusetts, but intake remains open.
Local-first AI and rule-based analysis help cluster Massachusetts-centered input into private themes, community support ideas, and possible repair pathways.
A concern from one role can become a question for another, helping people see the shared pressure beneath separate frustrations.
Real stakeholders review briefs and decide what becomes a system-improvement initiative. No AI acts on the world or matches people directly.
Roadmap
Staged with intention. Built on what we hear first.
Now - Q3 2026
Launch the Massachusetts listening site, collect the first voices, and learn what the system needs to hear.
Q3 - Q4 2026
Create cross-stakeholder pattern visibility and form the first human oversight board.
Q4 2026
Identify three Massachusetts-focused improvement themes from real testimony and human review.
Q1 - Q2 2027
Formalize the mission, seat a founding board, and begin grant applications.
Q3 2027
Publish a stakeholder-validated State of Healing report, beginning with Massachusetts healthcare.
Late 2027
Explore a supervised volunteer commons and community relief fund for practical burdens, after governance, eligibility, safeguarding, and counsel review.

Virtual Town Hall
Every Friday at 8:00 PM Eastern, Project Healing gathers around the simple act of listening before building. People can speak honestly without turning pain into blame. It is not an emergency, clinical, or individual care pathway.
Pro-Bono Human Conversations
These conversations are for listening, encouragement, and understanding stakeholder experience. Sometimes all someone needs is room to vent and be met with steadiness. These are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, peer counseling, or individual case review.

Our Principles
We do not gather stories to accuse people. We gather them to understand patterns and find constructive paths forward.
AI drafts patterns, mirrors, and briefs. Human reviewers decide what deserves action, support, or further listening.
Sometimes healing is a ride, a medication pickup, a warm call, or someone steady enough to listen without fixing.
A relief fund or volunteer-matching commons must be governed, safeguarded, and human-led before it becomes active.
